A quick little review...
Ok, I have just been dying to get on here and blog, and I don't want to say to much because I want to be able to post my pics with my stories, so I'll try to just give a quick rundown of the events.
***
Foliage:
It is SOOO Beautiful here! I can't believe how many different colors are on the trees. I have never seen such a spectacular display of oranges, reds, greens, and yellows in all my life!
Mountains:
Breathtaking... I have only seen one mountain before, and it was a baby mountain compared to these mountains. We went all the way to the top and I got to see snow!! In october!! You could see for 90 miles, literally. Mountains in Vermont, maine, everywhere. The Bible gives references to the mountains rejoicing and praising God. I always just bypassed that cause I never understood it. Now I know. WOW.
Boston:
Big city, not something this semi country girl is used to, but intriguing all the same. Lots of historical sites, which I LOVED. I could have spent another day there with everything there was to see. Down side... Yankee Haters.
Beach:
Living on the gulf side of the ocean, I rarely get to see the big waves of the atlantic. The crashing sound is music to my soul, and probably the place I am most at peace. The coastline was very different from Florida's coastline. It was very cute and had quaint little beach houses lined up all down the road.
Lake Winnipesaukee:
Reminded me of my grandmothers lake in Florida, except ten times bigger. But the trees that lined the coastline were amazing. We stopped at a little shopping area right on the coastline, it was very new englandish.
Family:
:) It's been great to see Dave's parents, and they have treated us great. (Plentiful supplies of coffee..) We really missed them. You never realize what you have till you don't have it!
***
Well, today is our last full day here *tear* so we are going to make the best of it! :) Hope everyone is having a blessed week and I'll see you in Tulsa!!!!

Excitement is in the air!!!
Ok, so just a quick rundown before I attempt to go to bed for four hours.
***
Work dragged on F O R E V E R. I was so excited to come home and go to sleep so it can be tomorrow that it felt like eternity passed. Dave felt the same way. But finally, it's three in the morning, we are done packing, and the house is ready to go.
I know, I said three.
We have to be up at seven. You do the math.
It's not that we had so much to do that we have been running around like crazy since we got home. It's just that we never go to bed till three or four. So we're not tired.
I'm gonna try to sleep though. :) I might be a little excited.
Dave and I went to Barnes and Nobles today to get him a comic book to read on the plane. While there I found a book about New Hampshire. It made me even more excited to go!!! I can't wait!!

Whoever thinks that nothing earth shattering can happen in five minutes...
Bucs are leading 21-17, against the NO Saints. only five minutes left.
Tick...
Tock...
There's the kickoff to the saints...
tick...
tock..
he's running downfield...
tick....
tock....
EVERY BUC IN THE WORLD TRIES TO TACKLE HIM...
tick...
tock...
He could go all the way.....
He does. Bucs lose.
0-5. I don't think we have this bad of a record since we were wearing orange and had a feather coming out of our hats. Bucs... all I have to say is...
AARGH!!!! (like a pirate)
HOWEVER!!! I am no bandwagon fan. I PROUDLY packed my Bucs long sleeve shirt and bucs skull cap to take to NH. :) I think I'll wear it on sunday :)

Well, I decided not to take my computer to NH, so that means no blogging. If I blog I will want to post pics, and I won't be able to do that unless I have my computer. I might drop by and say hi, but don't expect anything for a week. :) Sorry! Ok, that bed is calling my name. :) BYE BYE TULSA!!!!

I just want to scream!!! (for joy that is)
Wow...
I'm speechless.
Absolutely blown away.
I guess I shouldn't be.
I guess I should have had a little more faith than I did.
With me taking wo days off of work, we were a little tense about our financial situation. We're fine, but we need to work to live comfortable like we are now, and with us going on our trip to NH, it just wasn't a good time for me to not be able to work.
But the Lord was watching. :)
I went in to work today, and asked Michelle if I could maybe work six days a week for two weeks so I could make up the time that I missed. She said no, that it would be way to much overtime. I didn't press her about the issue, and let it drop.
About an hour later, she came up to me and asked me if she paid me vacation pay for going on my honeymoon. I responded yes, she gave me a week. She then said that she was just going to give me another week so that we didn't have to worry while we were on vacation.
Yea...
:) Doesn't that just make you think someone cares for you? :)

In His arms
Today was really relaxing, and just a constant reminder that God is good.
* I have health and happiness "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD. Jeremiah 30:17
*I have an amazing husband and learned more about him in the past two days than I ever thought I could. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it.." Ephesians 5:25
*God cares about the little things in life "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." prov. 3:5
*The Lord is our provider, a constant source of income regardless if I am working or not. "But God shall supply all your needs according to HIS riches in glory in Christ Jesus" Phil 4:19
*Peace has no price... " Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, him whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee," Isaiah 26:3
*The power of prayer cannot be measured "Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication and thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
" He brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God, many shall see it and fear, and put their trust in the LORD. "
:) Smile, God is good!

Nothing new
I'm on day five of 10 days straight of working. Just the way things worked out, I had two days off, and then work ten days straight till I go on vacation. But of course it will be worth it once I get seven days off in beautiful New Hampshire!! (at least that's what they tell me)
Yankees are in the playoffs... :)
Dave and I are getting ready to go to NH. He is having to help out a little more with cleaning and house chores lately since I have to work everyday. I came home today and he had done all the laundry and the house looked spotless! The bed was even made! :) I brought him home some food from Mimi's as a little treat for him since he worked so hard. Food definately is the way to a man's heart!
News from Florida, Kevin and Renee are having a girl!! Which means I'm going to have a Niece! I'm so excited for them, and I'm sure my mom and Dad will be excited to have another girl around. Boys tend to run in our family, even boy cousins outweigh girl cousins ( i think there are about 33 cousins now)
Nothing real newsworthy going on, hope everyone is having a blessed day!

I got Tagged!
So my mom tagged me for this, so I'm gonna do it... here goes.
1)Five Minutes to yourself. How would you spend them ideally?
I would sit outside with a cup of coffee and read the Word. Even five minutes can sometimes be enough to fill you for the whole day. :)
2)Five Dollars to spend right now. How and where would you spend it?
I would probably buy some sappy love card for Dave to read, one that brings him on the verge of tears, and lets me get a big huge hug and kiss after he reads it. that's only like two dollars, so with the rest of it, I would buy him some oreo cookies so he had something to dip in his milk.
3)Five Items in your house you could part with right now.- The TV's. I do not like tv, I think it's a time stealer and a waste of money. (and yet I absolutely couldn't part with my full house reruns.) The Futon - it just takes up space in our spare bedroom, and i would MUCH rather get my old bedroom furniture. (*wink, wink* mom) Dave's old towels... i think he used the same five for all four years of college...yeah.... These magazines that we found while cleaning...I must have got them in the mail, and they don't have the best content in them, and yet, they just sit on the shelf, unread, untouched, if I remembered I would throw them away! Our dining room table - it suits us, but it's small and I'm bored with it. If we had room, we would get a bigger one.
4)Five Items in your house you positively, absolutely could never part with.- My BIBLE!! I feel lost without it. I got it in 2002, and it has been pretty much the only bible I have ever read. Every fourth book is highlighted a different color. If you tell me a scripture I can find it better by remembering what color it's in and what side of the page it's on rather than the reference. (i'm extremely visual) My fan- Ever since I was a little girl, I had to have a fan blowing right on my face when I sleep. So without my fan, I would sleep horrible! A wedding picture of David and I. It's my favorite picture and one of the happiest times in my life. It always makes me smile when I see it. A quilt that my mom gave us for our wedding. It is beautiful, and has pictures of us and our families all over it. I hope to pass it on to our children one day. A Gold, one dollar coin....just a silly thing between me and my Dad, but everytime I see it I know he loves me.
5)Five Words you love.-Jesus(no word is more beautiful in the entire worldwide language) (ditto mom) -Dave(or baby, or honey, or sweety) -it's funny how much a word can mean, my whole life is wrapped up in this one. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (sp) Enough said! Mary Poppins goes down as the greatest movie EVER!!! I watched it over and over as a kid. Chaparita - ok, this is kind of mean. The cooks, bussers and dishwashers all call me this at work in spanish. I never knew what it meant, and never bothered to ask, I just knew that when they said it, they were talking to me. One day, I was on my tippy toes reaching for something, and I asked Ramon for help, and he said "ah chaparita" I then realized, it means short one!!! I went to a cook who could speak good english and asked him, and he just laughed and laughed. But it's a term of endearment for them, and I love em. Caden - this is the name I want to name our baby boy (not that we have one, or have planned one ,just whenever we have one :)
Thanks mom! That was a lot of fun!
