Apple makes me happy
One word:
IPhone
Or is that two words? :)
One this is for sure, I love it! I didn't get the first generation Iphone because I know, you never buy the first generation product from Apple. You just don't do it. Because within the year, they usually come out with something bigger, better, newer, and then you just wish you had waited and been patient.
Well it was a long year.
But I was so patient, saved up the money for it, and my hubby graciously waited in line for me when it came out.
It has changed my life! It is so easy to use, so intelligent, adn literally takes all the thinking out of a phone. My husband has a blackberry. I can't for the life of me figure out how to use it. And I consider myself pretty technologically advanced. So if I can't figure it out, it's not worth figuring out.
Just reminds me that some things in life are worth waiting for. :)

FOOTBALL SEASON!
Saturday, July 28, 2007
Ok, thanks for sticking with me on this one. But I'm already having doubts. I forget that the reasons I left blogger in the first place was because they were switching to this new blogger system and it pretty much stinks. *sigh*
Maybe I won't be switching after all... or maybe I will create a totally new website. Hmm... the possibilities. ! : ) I'll write tomorrow, promise!

A Whole New World
David and I were blessed with a Computer from my grandmother!!
We went and picked it out on wednesday. And, we have converted.
No more PC!!
Yes, we have switched over to the wonderful world of MACS!!
They are AMAZING!!!!!
We are still in shock over everything that they do. It's kind of hard to describe to someone who doesn't own a mac, why owning a mac is so much better. Let's just say, David and I are impressed.

The obvious things that are better: It's lighter, quieter, and fits much better on your lap than the bulky pc's do.
It's got a built in camera called isight.
It's got a photo booth section, where you and your loved ones can take goofy pics of each other and then put all these different backgrounds on them and stuff.
This is one of the pics we took. It's called swirl. We laughed so hard while we were taking it, simply because we looked really funny. We took a normal pic to.
I took these pics WITH MY COMPUTER.
Well, all we have to say is, THANK YOU GRANDMOTHER!!!!!!!

Change of Plans
Well, so much for having a different schedule!
I guess the manager that was helping us out while we didn't have another manager decided to go MIA, and now he's pretty much done with. Which means michelle had to switch me to all closings this week. So I'm back to my normal routine, but it kind of stinks because David works during the day, so it looks like we are going to have another week of not seeing each other. :(
Some good news though, we paid off our bedroom set!!! We are so proud because it only took us six months to pay it off, and we worked really hard to make sure we were saving up for it. It's nice to have that load off of our shoulders, and now we can focus on other things.
I went over to Jess's house last night to scrapbook. Nathan was being really clingy, so it was hard for me to get any work done. Every time I looked away from what he was doing, he would run back over to me and want to sit on my lap. It's pretty impossible to scrapbook when he's like that. But it was close to his bedtime, so Jess put him down to bed after a little while and I was able to get some things done. I put together my book and got 2 or three pages done, but mostly I just organized all my pics. They are really out of order and just kind of tossed into my carry bag. When we get our new house, I'm going to demand a scrapbooking room all to myself!! That way I can spread out and do what I need to do without worrying about making a mess. That would be amazing!!
Merry Christmas!
Friday, December 15, 2006
I've been busy with Christmas shopping and cheer, and I have to admit, the change in schedule has gotten me a little out of loop!
I usually blog at night time when I get home from work. That's when all the creative juices are flowing and I can best collect my thoughts. Well since my schedule has changed a little, I have been working during the days, and when nighttime comes, I am in bed!
But I did want to get on a spread a little christmas cheer!
Here is our Christmas Tree after we first got it all decorated!
Here is an ornament that we got this year. It says Merry Christmas and it's made out of little candy pieces. There is a little gingerbread man in the middle holding it all together. I know this one's hard to see, but it's two bears all ready to get married! At the Bottom by their feet, it says, David and Chrystal, 2006. We are going to get one ornament a year with our names on it. Should be fun! These are the Christmas stockings that David and I decorated last year together. I decorated his, and he decorated mine. :) So we have everyone's gifts now, and that takes a lot of pressure off of me! Now I feel like I can relax and not worry about a thing! Maybe that means more blogging! Tonight I am going over to Jess's house to hang out and me, her and megs are going to scrapbook. It's been nice having a more normal schedule, I have been able to hang out with the girls three or four nights this week.
***
I'm trying to think of something newsworthy, but there's really not anything that's been going on. You'd think there would be something newsworthy, since I haven't blogged in so long, but there's really nothing special going on. David's parents are coming in town next week on Christmas day. Hard to believe Christmas is almost here! I can't wait!
Here's wishing you holiday cheer and happiness!
